HawkSearch results are powered by your index and data feeds. For this reason, accurate and regular indexing of feeds is important for each customer. Even if there is no change in your actual feed, re-indexing is necessary whenever rules are edited in a way that changes the feeds (boost/bury rules, synonyms, etc.). Conceptually, Hawksearch provides indexing and search of your items and content, but in implementation search is carried out over your data fields. 


In live sites, sometimes users see errors in index. The first step in troubleshooting is understanding the error, the cause of the error, and working on solutions.
