Field Configuration: Reserved Fields

Applicable for all Hawksearch versions. Some exceptions present based on CMS/Connector used, please contact Hawksearch for details

Some field names are internal to HawkSearch. We encourage using a different name for each of the following field names if present in your data, specifically the attributes and hierarchy files do not have the following names as the key.

  • it

  • type

  • tabs

  • source

  • browser

  • browsername

  • state

  • country

  • custom

  • timeofday

  • city

  • facetselectioncount

  • language

 

These fields are created automatically by Hawksearch as a part of the metadata for every item.

In case there is a need to create the above fields pertaining to your datamodel, please prepend or append with some text example:

Instead of type, use item_type, product_type, etc.

Instead of tabs, use item_tabs, etc.
