Sorting Tracking - Daily

A "Sorting Tracking - Daily Report" offers users the benefit of understanding how users prioritize and organize search results, allowing for targeted optimization of search relevance and sorting options. By focusing on users' preferences and behaviors, website owners can more effectively manage and cater to these preferences, ultimately resulting in a superior search experience and higher user satisfaction.


Navigating to the Sorting Tracking - Daily

  1. To navigate to the Sorting Tracking - Daily Report, click on “Reports“ from the top navigation

  2. Next, you can either select “Sorting Tracking - Daily“ from the left navigation or select it from the Reports Home Page. Either link will take you to the Sorting Tracking - Daily report page.


Customizing the Sorting Tracking - Daily

  1. Date: Select a date range of when to pull the data. There are several popular options included in the drop-down.

    1. --All--

    2. Last day

    3. Last 3 days

    4. Last Week

    5. Last 4 Weeks

    6. Last Month

    7. Last Year

    8. Other: Customized date range

  2. Sorting Set: Use the drop down menu to select which sorting set is used on the site

  3. Visitor Targets: Use the drop down menu to select any of your visitor targets to display and understand sorting methods for specific user types

  4. Keyword: Input the term that was used before sorting the results

  5. Sorting Set Field: Use the drop down menu to select which value in the sorting set is used to sort the resort


Additional Options

  1. Refresh: Clicking the "Refresh" button will cause the display of the reports to change according to your newest specifications. 

  2. Export: To export the report to an excel document, click on the "Export" button.

  3. Clear: The "Clear" button will delete any changes that you have made.


Understanding Your Report

  1. Table: The table shows what terms are getting corrected and what terms are showing other suggestions to users

    1. Date: the date of a sorting is triggered

    2. Sorting Set: name of the sorting set that the selected sorting field is belonged to

    3. Sorting Set Field: name of the selected sorting field

    4. Keyword: keyword used before the sorting is triggered

    5. Search Count: number of the keyword used before the sorting is triggered

  2. Results Included: Control how many sorting activities are displayed on one page by using the “Show“ pull down menu.
