Navigating to the Spelling Suggestion Tracking - Daily

  1. To navigate to the Spelling Suggestion Tracking - Daily Report, click on “Reports“ from the top navigation

  2. Next, you can either select “Spelling Suggestion Tracking - Daily“ from the left navigation or select it from the Reports Home Page. Either link will take you to the Spelling Suggestion Tracking - Daily report page.


Customizing the Spelling Suggestion Tracking - Daily

  1. Date Range: Select a date range of when to pull the data. There are several popular options included in the drop-down.

    1. --All--

    2. Last day

    3. Last 3 days

    4. Last Week

    5. Last 4 Weeks

    6. Last Month

    7. Last Year

    8. Other: Customized date range

  2. Original Keyword: Input the keyword that user keyed into the search box

  3. Visitor Targets: Use the drop down menu to select any of your visitor targets to display

  4. Corrected Keyword: Input the term that was used by autocorrect to return results


Additional Options

  1. Refresh: Clicking the "Refresh" button will cause the display of the reports to change according to your newest specifications. 

  2. Export: To export the report to an excel document, click on the "Export" button.

  3. Clear: The "Clear" button will delete any changes that you have made.


Understanding Your Report

  1. Table: The table shows what terms are getting corrected and what terms are showing other suggestions to users

    1. Date: the date of the spelling correction/suggestion

    2. Original Keyword: what the user keyed into the search box

    3. Corrected Keyword: the term that was used by autocorrect to return results

    4. Other Suggestions: other terms offered to user in Did You Mean

    5. Suggestion Count: number of times this suggestion and original keyword combination occurred on the date

    6. Min Results: lowest number of results returned to the user when this correction/suggestion happened

    7. Max Results: highest number of results returned to the user when this correction/suggestion happened

    8. Is Autocorrect Enabled?: indicates if Autocorrect was enabled at the time the correction/suggestion occurred

  2. Results Included: Control how many spelling suggestions are displayed on one page by using the “Show“ pull down menu.
