This document provides information for Creating, Scheduling and Delete Scheduled Tasks for V4L Indexes.

Prerequisite

Configured Sitefinity connector - Connector: Activation

Steps to Create V4L Index

You can export all selected items (Full or only the items that are modified (delta) after your last export.

  1. Navigate to Hawksearch admin page (your-site-domain/Sitefinity/Administration/hawksearchconfig)

  2. Select your site and choose content to Export

    1. Choose Basic content types

      1. Choose content type field

      2. [Optional] Set the field with a custom export name

  3. Save changes

  4. Press Full or Delta Export

Steps to Schedule V4L Index Creation

Exports can be scheduled for delayed execution.

  1. Navigate to Hawksearch admin page (your-site-domain/Sitefinity/Administration/hawksearchconfig)

  2. Navigate to Schedule Export screen

  3. Under Full Export section

    1. Choose schedule type

    2. Set export time

  4. Schedule Full or Delta export

Steps to Delete Scheduled V4L Index Creation

  1. Navigate to Hawksearch admin page (your-site-domain/Sitefinity/Administration/hawksearchconfig)

  2. Navigate to Schedule Export screen (your-site-domain/Sitefinity/Administration/hawksearchschedule)

  3. Press ‘Delete Full Export Schedule’ button
