Overview
We are actively updating the HawkSearch integration with BigCommerce to enhance system performance and compatibility. This initiative addresses recent challenges encountered due to modifications in the BigCommerce API endpoints that impacted our data integration process.
Details
Our team identified that the BigCommerce API endpoints, which previously supported storefront data from multiple channels, have undergone changes. Specifically, these endpoints were updated, and the data for storefronts beyond the default channel (Channel ID 1) was no longer included in the API responses. This adjustment affected how we access and display storefront information through HawkSearch.
Action Taken
In response to these API changes, we are diligently working to transition to the updated endpoints recommended by BigCommerce. This upgrade is essential for restoring full data access and ensuring that HawkSearch continues to deliver accurate and comprehensive search results across all channels.
