Hawksearch allows you to create listing pages of three kinds:-

  • Result Listing Pages

  • Content Landing Pages

  • Result Listing Pages with Content

Business Requirements

Result Listing Pages

Result Listing Pages are predefined listing pages that are similar to search pages. These pages are used to display a specific set of products based on the rule in the dashboard and maybe used to power

  • Category based product listing

  • Brand based product listing

  • News Listing

  • Blogs Listing

  • Pages linked to Email Marketing Campaigns

  • One off Merchandising Sale Campaigns

etc..

These pages display following components

  • Results

  • Facets

  • Merchandising Banners

Content Landing Pages

For sites that have a CMS component these pages are typically just run through the CMS side instead of Hawksearch. However Hawksearch offers ability to customers to create custom content landing pages. The content landing pages don't give the full flexibility of a true CMS. These are more designed to help the customer display content in their website templates in certain zones and take advantage of merchandising tools from Hawksearch without displaying results or filters (Facets)

Examples of content landing pages are as below:-

  • Email Flyer Page with Merchandising zones

  • Category home pages which display sub categories and other banners

These pages typically display merchandising banners or custom widgets. Layouts are defines in the Hawksearch dashboard. For additional details about layout please reference

Result Listing Pages with Content

These pages are combination of the Result Listing Pages and Content Landing Pages. These pages display all of the components mentioned in the above notes.
