Number of Clicks - Daily

In this article you will find:

Number of Clicks – Daily

This report allows you to view the number of searches that resulted in clicks on the links to the product detail pages or content detail pages on your site. This allows you to check how many times people are using the search feature and then clicking on search result links.
You can use this report to confirm if any of the configuration changes, sorting changes, or UI changes launched on a particular day resulted in higher clicks. If you see the number of clicks dropping down it might be a good time to re-evaluate the results returned for top keywords as well as confirming if any additional configuration changes need to be done to improve quality of results for certain terms.

Please note, to ensure that clicks are being reported in the Hawksearch Dashboard please make sure the click event script is included on your site.

If you are using the Proxy Implementation for the auto complete then you do not need to include this script for the click tracking as that script will be bundled as part of the auto complete script.
