In this report, you can view the Conversion triggered from the search results for a defined date range. The Conversion Tracking List report shows relationship between the term that was used prior to an order being placed, order date and the total amount of the order.
If more than one search was done in the same session, this report has multiple entries for the order placed.
Navigating to the Conversion Tracking Home Page
- To navigate to the Conversion Tracking Home Page, click on "Reports" from the top navigation.
- Click on the "Conversion Tracking" from the Reports Home Page or on the left navigation menu, click on "Conversion Tracking".
Customizing the Conversion Tracking List
- Keyword: Enter a keyword (or keywords separated by commas) to display conversion data for particular keywords.
- Date Range: select a date range of when to pull the data. There are several popular options included in the drop-down. Additionally, you can select the option for "other" and then specify a customized date campaign. This last option is helpful for creating reports organized around time sensitive campaigns.
- Order #: Enter an order number(or numbers separated by commas) to display conversion data for particular order numbers.
- Refresh: Clicking the "Refresh" button will cause the display of the reports to change according to your newest specifications.
- Export: To export the report to an excel document, click on the "Export" button.
- Clear: The "Clear" button will delete any changes for the report that you have made and return all inputs to their defaults.
Understanding Your Results
The Conversion Tracking List report shows relationship between the term that was used prior to an order being placed, order date and the total amount of the order.
If more than one search was done in the same session, this report has multiple entries for the order placed. For example, If 3 keywords searched in single session and an order is placed for $120. All 3 keywords will be in the conversion summary list with an order value of $40.
Keyword – term that was used prior to an order being placed
Date – the date on which an order was placed in the same session as using site search
Order # - the order number
Total [$] – the total amount of the order placed in sessions when the keyword was searched
