Pagination Tracking - Daily Report

This report will provide some insights on the pagination tracking for your search results. It allows you to see what page of the first three search results led to a click through on the chosen date. Banner and Banner Campaign filters can be used to focus on specific content items.  Be sure to turn on tracking for content items in order to see data for the item in this report.


Navigating to the Pagination Tracking - Daily Report

  1. To navigate to the Conversion Tracking Home Page, click on Reports from the top navigation bar.
  2. Click on the "Pagination Tracking - Daily Report" from the Reports Home Page or on the left navigation menu, click on "Pagination Tracking - Daily Report".

Customizing the Pagination Tracking - Daily Report

  1. Date Range: select a date range of when to pull the data. There are several popular options included in the drop-down. Additionally, you can select the option for "other" and then specify a customized date campaign. This last option is helpful for creating reports organized around time sensitive campaigns.
  2. Pagination Set: Select a Pagination Set to see data for each particular pagination scheme.  
  3. Visitor Targets:  Use the drop down menu to select any of your visitor targets to display. This report shows the Pagination Tracking results for the selected visitor target.
  4. Keyword: Enter a keyword (or keywords separated by commas) to display pagination data for particular keywords. 
  5. Label: Name or Label of a particular scheme (e.g. 12 results per page, 24 results per page, etc) 

Additional Options

 

  1. Search: Clicking the "Search" button will cause the display of the reports to change according to your newest specifications. 
  2. Export: To export the report to an excel document, click on the "Export" button.
  3. Clear: The "Clear" button will delete any changes for the report that you have made and return all inputs to their defaults.

Understanding Your Results

  • Date Range: Shows the date of a particular pagination result. 
  • Pagination Set: Select a Pagination Set to see data for each particular pagination scheme.  
  • Visitor Targets: This report shows the Pagination Tracking results for the selected visitor target, when a particular visitor target is selected. 
  • Keyword: Enter a keyword (or keywords separated by commas) to display pagination data for particular keywords. 
  • Label: Name or Label of a particular set (e.g. 12 results per page, 24 results per page, etc) 
  • Current Page: The page where an event occurred after a search. (e.g. A user clicks on a result on the 2nd page of search results.)  
  • Search Count: The number of times a particular keyword was searched.
